My comment to Pawel Brodzinski: Thank you so much for this valuable feedback. I do agree it also depends on who is the driver of the bus. All the best and do well and wish your team all the best.

Currently I have a unique chance to look from a perspective at a team I know very well, just after their manager has changed. Unfortunately for the team the switch was from a manager who cared (or at least tried to do so) to the one who doesn't give a damn when talking about his people.

Team performance has fallen flat on the face. People have started changing buses and soon the manager will have a lot of empty seats.

The interesting thing is: as far as people don't know how it is with the good driver they think everyone drives the bus the same. But as far as they realize the difference 9 times out of ten they'll choose the better driver even if the bus itself is a bit rusty.
