What is an Android phone?
Ok a few days back i was hanging out with a few friends, one of them asked me what Android was all about and the advantage of Android phones versus Apple iphones.
I am not a developer or a techo intellect, this was what i shared with my friends offline and thought it would be cool to share it with my online buddies(readers) who visit me when ever i post information.
Android is a set of tools in the form of software that is created for mobile devices. Its an operating system. It is truly open thereby allowing flexibility to enable developers to create mobile applications without breaking into the OS to cater for modifications. Its been developed on the open Linux Kernel. It utilizes a custom virtual machine that is designed to optimize memory and hardware resources in a mobile environment.
