Today I attended an amazing meeting which was focused around networking and man people spoke about their business experiences. We each had to speak about how we handled objections or how we dealt with a situation where we may have been screwed over for a reason. If you are like me then the first thing that crosses your mind is anger and hate. Sure some of us have had really bad experiences and some of us have had not so bad experiences. So how do you deal with this? In today’s meeting we focused on how not to get our

Do you have the guts to do business like a prostitute

The other day my friend and I were walking down Queen street, Auckland. I was a bit tired and my mind was occupied on how to help a client get their social media campaigns sorted. This was particularly a tough campaign as it was targeted towards the food industry with many key players within the space. My friend and I were off to the NZ film festival but noticing my preoccupied self she asked me what was wrong. We kept brainstorming and then from topic to topic i have no clue how but we started speaking about how some

As a start-up would you prefer crowd funding or the traditional funding models

Crowd funding is based on the concept that individuals can now invest in start-ups. According to the web definition from Wikipedia. Crowd funding (sometimes called crowd financing or crowd sourced capital), inspired by crowd sourcing, describes the collective cooperation, attention and trust by people who network and pool their money together, usually via the Internet, in order to support efforts initiated by other people or organisations. Web Publishers to move beyond Banner ads

Twenty-seven large publishers are introducing three new types of online display ads. The new formats are meant to reduce clutter and provide more visibility. One of this is the “pushdown,” 970 pixels wide by 418 tall on the page. What this ad space would do is when the page opens, the pushdown ad will expand downward, and then roll up to the top of the page. The second new format is the “fixed panel,” 336 wide and 860 tall pixels which will scroll with the user based on which part of the content the user is viewing. The third format is the “XXL

Facebook did not agree to this and responded that it was their policy to keep dead members profile's in a "memorialized" state. Consumerist put up a post regarding this and very shortly Facebook responded to Stephanie confirming that they have removed his profile. To
