Wikis Go Printable

February 27th, 2009 | 1 Comment | Posted in Digital News

Yes yes i know this could be termed as out dated news. PediaPress established a long term partnership with the Wikimedia Foundation to print your favourite wiki articles as a book. You select the content from your favorite wiki and PediaPress takes care of the rest to ship the book to you. From last week onwards the functionality was activated for six more languages besides German. As of 26th Feb the functionality has now been extended on the regular English Wikipedia (restricted to logged-on users only for now). The roll-out for English Wikipedia users will be gradual out of fear for scalability issues, so it’s currently still in test mode.
