The Gazelle Web Browser by Microsoft
Microsoft research has released a paper about a Web browser it calls Gazelle. This web browser is constructed in such a way so as to to act like an operating system with the browser protecting resources and sharing across Web sites.
According to Microsoft no existing browsers is like Gazelle, this includes browsers based on new architectures, Gazelle has a multi-principal operating system constructed in such a way that provides the browser-based OS exclusive control to manage the protection of all system resources.
