How the web browser will appear in 2015 – The next big computing platform
The browser is spreading beyond the PC. Now with a browser alone you are able to do a lot more then when the Internet first started. According to a news report at PC world they stated that “The next big computing platform won’t be a version of Apple’s Mac OS, Google’s Android, or Microsoft’s Windows. It’s the Web. AMD is working on a browser called Fusion Media Explorer, which is a 3D browser . It’s been released as a beta currently but with this browser users will be able to browse music , video albums stored on a PC, and share these files with social networks.
If you are interested to have a look at it, you could download the software at AMD.

Google on the other hand is busy building voice recognition and text-to-speech functionality for browsers. With the browser undergoing massive rapid change in a few years you and I will be working differently in our day-to-day computing lives. Just imagine having the browser in cars, where we could stream radio from the browser directly into our cars while driving to work and that too in 3D style without the glasses. Would that not be awesome?
With the addition to voice recognition, text-to-speech, and touch less gesture controls for applications driving would be a breeze. This would indeed make life easier and comfortable. It’s up to us when and where we plan using it.
Google has been repeatedly talking about the Web being the next Operating System where the browser will run all of your applications–including eye-grabbing 3D games. The best thing that you could do right now is prioritize how you like working so that when you are able to adapt to the change for the good and not bog your life down with lots of fancy web applications.
