The Google AdWords blog has announced the new display URL policy will take effect this week of February 24th. The new policy, which was reported by Barry Schwartz

Antony Beswick from NZ is heading the initiative held by technology giant Sony Ericsson to help telcos get a piece of the social web. At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Sony Ericsson unveiled a web-hosted "white label" portal. This white label application lets mobile network operators provide their own-branded social networking sites to allow their customers to upload photos and videos taken with camera phones to sites such as Facebook and Bebo.

Facebook has settled last summer a dispute with a rival social network, ConnectU. The ConnectU founders -- the Winklevoss brothers and colleague Divya Narendra had accused Zuckerberg of ripping off their idea for a college-based social network.
