This video is a clip from a presentation given by Microsoft’s Business Division president Stephen Elop at the Wharton Business Technology Conference. It made my heart skip a beat, it was as though Microsoft was finnaly listening. Not that my heart skipping a beat or me falling in love with Microsoft matters. This video made me realise that Microsoft actually is among the few that shares their vision for the next decade. During TechCrunch Cloud computing event hosted by Steve Gillmor, around cloud computing featured many of the biggest names like Salesforce.com, Rackspace, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Sun, Facebook, Ning, Amazon.com, Friendfeed. Each one spoke about how their product leveraged the cloud. But before we keep jumping into this top and latching ourselves to Cloud Computing we may have to tackle basic issues first such as issues relating to privacy, reliability, security of data.
